Vartan House Canopy

The Vartan House Canopy, was designed, produced and installed by Diba Tensile Architecture in 2017. This membrane structure has a total area of 128 sqm.

This pre-engineered product (Ararat) is a quite fast and durable solution providing a covered pleasant space with daylight that helps to save energy and is airtight and watertight with different finishing wall materials such as glass or wood.

High translucency and flexibility, as well as a low surface weight matched by excellent tensile strength are main characteristics of membrane structures. This allows you to cover large areas with minimum materials and create diverse shapes and curves.

The used fabric in this project was made of PVC-coated polyester, which is a good resistant to ultraviolet (UV) radiation and environmental contaminants.
