Bakouchi House Canopy

The Bakouchi House Canopy, was designed, produced and installed by Diba Tensile Architecture in 2019. This membrane structure has a total area of 55 sqm.

The used fabric in this project was made of PVC-coated polyester, which is a good resistant to ultraviolet (UV) radiation and environmental contaminants.

High translucency and flexibility, as well as a low surface weight matched by excellent tensile strength are main characteristics of membrane structures. This allows you to cover large areas with minimum materials and create diverse shapes and curves.

About Bakouchi House:

Bakuchi House, is located in the Sultan Amir Ahmad neighborhood, near Jalali Castle. The architecture of the house traces its roots to the Qajar era. This house has an inner and outer courtyard.

The main style of the house is Sunken courtyard in two floors. The house entrance leads to the middle floor and the courtyard is built on 4 sides.

The interior of the house has a small octagonal courtyard. There is also a garden belonging to the Bakuchi house, intersected by a path that passes through the passageway.
