In designing the scope of attention to quality, adaptation, and adaptation of space and activity has been one of the main items. In this regard, obtaining the appropriate quality of design and consequently improving the quality of space based on the criteria of vitality, meaning, adaptability, readability, flexibility, accessibility and control and supervision were considered and the design diagram was founded with a focus on taking the headlines from the past (preserving the industrial and historical identity of the complex), protecting existing textures and combining them with new spaces.
Therefore, it was tried to add simple elements with different contemporary spiritual materials and colors in the old body of the factory and turn the old unused space into an inviting and attractive space.
Meanwhile, the main element of the complex is an urban plaza that stretches from north to south of the complex and will sit like an umbrella on part of the old buildings of the complex. The steps and paths that branch off from this plaza will continue throughout the project and connect the different parts of it and establish the necessary physical connections.
This plaza, with its simplicity and brevity that adds only one horizontal line to a small part of the skyline of the collection, tries to express its newness in silence, like a child who is humble towards the previous generations.
This plaza, which is open to the public, is like a porch for the audience to be able to see the city in a landscape not so low and not so high. This communal urban space can be a platform for small and large collective events in the city with audiences from the surrounding context to urban and metropolitan tourists from other cities or countries.
